Thales employees run 13 km in the mud for an association supported by the Thales Foundation

On Saturday 26 May, a team of employees from the Thales Digital Factory took up the Mud Day challenge in the woodlands west of Paris, running the 13 km obstacle race and raising money for the Cartable Fantastique charity to help educate handicapped children.

Their T-shirts may have changed colour but their smiles persevered!

Under the grey late-May sky, the team of intrepid athletes met in the centre of the Yvelines department to take on several challenges, like crossing a mud pit, climbing a log pyramid and crawling through a narrow tunnel.

The charity race raised €490 for Le Cartable Fantastique, an association that develops digital tools to help educate children and particularly those with dyslexia. In June, the association also became a beneficiary of the payroll giving scheme established by the Thales Foundation in 2016.
